SOTTOSUOLO
Sottosuolo was born from a desire to showcase a type of music that often remains hidden: contemporary, experimental, and off-the-beaten-path. The idea is to bring it to light, in alternative and accessible spaces, engaging those who may not be familiar with it at all. Through sounds created with recycled instruments, original percussion, and live electronics, "Sotto Suolo" aims to break the mold and offer unusual sonic experiences. It's an invitation to listen with curiosity and be surprised.

STORIES OF THE PLAIN
"Stories of the Plain" is a festival by Icarus Ensemble, an ideal continuation of last year's "Stories of the Apennines," and partially follows its theme: bringing together highly topical themes such as ecology and the use of next-generation technologies with the concept of community, which can be interpreted differently. The first event will be entirely dedicated to nature and the new awareness that emerges through the magic of technology. The central event will involve the Indian community in a Bollywood restaurant, with famous performers from Bangalore and Cologne's MusikFabrik, gathered around Icarus. Other events will focus on Luciano Berio's relationship (on the centenary of his birth) with tradition and the ancestral use of percussion in both classical and popular music.

APPENNINO STORIES
Icarus organizes a series of events dedicated to the Apennines and their people, focusing on themes such as caring for remote communities, protecting nature, and promoting the social and cultural aspects of the Reggio Emilia Apennines: rich in history and natural beauty, with an ecosystem as diverse as it is fragile.
